heroin was to calm you down, cocaine was a stimulant and amphetamines were for weight loss.
Cocaine was & in some instances still is used to relieve dental pain. It was also included in Coca Cola for a little boost.
Heroin was introduced by Bayer Co. for pain…it was more effective than codeine or morphine, but then people started to form tolerance to it.
Methamphetamine is a derivative of amphetamine that was used for anti-obesity.
